TAMRON Sponsors Yumeka Kobayashi, a Female Professional Golfer

April 3, 2023, Saitama, Japan – Tamron Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Shiro Ajisaka; Headquarters: Saitama City, Japan; “TAMRON”), a leading manufacturer of optics for diverse applications, has concluded a sponsorship agreement with Yumeka Kobayashi, a professional golfer from Saitama where TAMRON has its Head Office.
Kobayashi started playing golf at the age of eight, developing her golf skills at Jumbo Ozaki Golf Academy. In 2021, she passed the very hard test to become a professional golfer for the Japan Ladies Professional Golfers’ Association (JLPGA). Kobayashi is noted for her overwhelming physical ability and distance, and is seen as a promising player in the world of Japanese women’s golf.
Seeking to contribute to the community and foster the development of the next generation, TAMRON has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Kobayashi, recognizing her ceaseless efforts, bravely taking on the challenge at each step and playing golf around Japan and the world, far from her home in Saitama.
TAMRON will continue to contribute to society while supporting Kobayashi, for instance by contributing to communities and fostering the development of the next generation.
