Tamron Acquires Quality Management System Certification for Medical Devices

(President & CEO: Shiro Ajisaka; Head Office: Saitama City), an integrated manufacturer of optics, announces that it has acquired ISO 13485:2016 certification, the international standard of quality management systems for medical devices. This latest certification demonstrates the safety in Tamron's manufacturing and supply of medical devices, and will facilitate business expansion in the Health Care field domestically and in overseas markets including Europe and the United States.
