Tamron Wins the Commendation Award of the 2020 Internet IR Awards for Daiwa Investor Co., Ltd.

December 15, 2020, Saitama, Japan - Tamron Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Shiro Ajisaka; Headquarters: Saitama City), a leading manufacturer of optics for diverse applications, announces that the company has won the Commendation Award of the 2020 Internet IR Awards given by Daiwa Investor Relations Co., Ltd.

Based on the concept of "5T&C,"* in which positions the Internet as an integral element of corporate investor relations programs, the Internet IR Award is given to those companies that construct excellent websites for investor relations and effectively use the internet for information disclosure and communication activities. The award was granted following an examination and evaluation of the websites of 3,883 listed companies this year, with 144 companies selected as award recipients.

We will pursue further enhancement of corporate information such as the IR information page, recognize that providing information on the internet is one of the IR activities, and actively provide information to more shareholders and investors.
