GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING IMAGES

• Go to www.tamron.com/gallery/index.php.
• Click on Register (everyone must register to upload images).
• Agree to terms & conditions
• Input registration information and submit
• A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided
• Click on the link in the email or copy it into your web browser to activate your account.
• Log in and start to upload images to the Macro Photo Contest 2009 category. Images cannot be larger than 95K.
• Tamron reserves the right to delete any images that do not have anything to do with this contest.

RULES

• You must be 18 years or older to participate.
• Contest is open to professional and amateur photographers using any brand lenses
• Open to U.S. residents only. Any images submitted from outside the U.S. will not be considered..
• The winning photo will be chosen based on originality and overall quality by our guest judges. All decisions are final.
• You MUST include all information such as: File Title, File Description, Lens & Camera used.
• Winners may be asked to sign an affidavit of eligibility and grant of rights, and to submit all model releases and comments required for publication. By entering, contestants certify that photo(s) are original and do not infringe on any third-party rights.
• Contestants will retain the rights to their photographs. However, contestants grant Tamron USA, Inc. and its agency unlimited rights, for 18 months, usage of the winning image, the winner's name, photo, and likeness in any advertising/promotion efforts by Tamron USA, Inc.
• Employees and families of Tamron USA, Inc. are not eligible.
• Images can be uploaded as jpg files no larger than 95K or submitted by mail on cd. Prints any size (color or black/white) or duplicate transparencies (no originals) may be sent by mail.
• No manipulation beyond color correction, conversion to black and white, brightness and contrast.
• ONLY three (3) entries per person.
• Void where prohibited by law. Any tax on the prize is the winner's sole responsibility.
