Warranty



TAMRON USA ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

(One-Year Warranty Valid in Caribbean, Central America, South America and Mexico only.)

 

The limited warranty set forth below is provided by Tamron USA, Inc. and is applicable to Tamron Photographic Lenses purchased through an authorized dealer in Caribbean, Central America, South America and Mexico. The Warranty shall not extend to anyone other than the original purchaser of the lens or the person for whom the lens was purchased as a gift. This Warranty is valid only in Caribbean, Central America, South America and Mexico, and is valid only upon presentation of a bill of sale and this white Warranty Service Slip.

This Tamron lens is warranted against defective materials or workmanship for One- Year from the date of original purchase, and is limited to repair, adjustment and/or replacement of defective parts. This Warranty covers all defects encountered in normal use of the lens. This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear such as scratches, etc.

This Warranty does not apply to defects due to abuse, mishandling, repair by a non-authorized agent, unsuitable storage, transport damage, sand damage, liquid damage, fungus damage, impact damage, or tampering.

This Warranty also does not cover defects due to the use of accessories, attachments, product supplies, parts or devices that do not conform to Tamron specifications. This Warranty does not cover lenses that have been serviced or modified by anyone other than Authorized Tamron Service Agents.

Warranty Claim Instruction:
While the lens is under the term of this warranty, if you have a claim, please return the lens to the dealer where you purchased it. If that is not possible, return it to Tamron USA, Inc., New York. Include with the lens the bill of sale from an authorized dealer, this white Warranty Service Slip, and a description of the defect claimed. If Tamron determines your lens to be defective, we will repair or replace it at NO CHARGE.

Shipping Instruction Policy:
If you return the lens by mail or delivery service, be sure to pack it in its original box or comparable packaging and insure it. You must pre-pay all postage, shipping charges, handling and insurance costs when returning the lens to the dealer or Tamron’s New York Office (address listed below.) If we determine that the warranty has been voided, we will notify you and give you a repair cost estimate. Your authorization will be necessary before any repairs are made at your expense.

Return Shipment Policy:
Tamron USA, Inc. will return your lens via UPS or FEDEX. This charge will be your responsibility and included on your repair estimate. This includes any UPS or FEDEX estimated duties and taxes and may be subject to change. Once the delivery has shipped from our New York warehouse, Tamron USA, Inc. will not be responsible for any further fees and/or charges.

KEEP THIS WARRANTY SERVICE SLIP. IT IS YOUR PERMANENT RECORD OF WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO YOUR TAMRON LENS. IT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR WARRANTED SERVICE. IF LOST, IT WILL NOT BE REISSUED.
